Discover the World of SVG
Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) is an exciting open standard of the
World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) enabling high-quality, interactive,
animated and stylable graphics to be delivered over the web using
accessible, human-readable XML.
At the SVG Open 2008 Conference you will have the opportunity to learn
about various aspects of SVG including how to create effective and
compelling web content using SVG, various techniques for developing SVG
software solutions and the latest developments from the W3C.
You will meet the creators of SVG applications in
person, the authors of the SVG specifications, and you will have the
opportunity to provide your own input for future development.
At the
SVG Open 2008 Technical Exhibition, you will have a chance to see the
newest SVG applications and tools at work, and you will hear
announcements of upcoming SVG product releases. SVG Open 2008 courses
will improve your knowledge in SVG, XML and related standards, graphic
